the cooling pads in this metal cage are what make it unique - SmallRig claim 40% longer run times due to the better cooling.

I think this is the only case so far with the Graphene pads that help cooling - I do like that design, since as we all know, extra cooling could drastically help with the Action 2!

It's interesting that several manufacturers have found it worthwhile to offer competing cages for the Action 2 - so somebody must be buying it apart from the good people here!

Which is best smallrig or DJI protector

SmallRig - The DJI one isn't very helpful other then to keep you from hurting your fingers from the heat.
