rubbing against rear legs when folded. I personally never had this issue but this skin by Wrapgrade might offer better protection just in case

Is there really no other way to protect the gimbal...?   

Definitely a better solution than my piece of the fuzzy side of the velcro stuck to the sides.  Nice!!

I'm sure there is but as a bonus, I was able to spruce up the M3 a bit. I like it
