It should be already clear that they do not have any information about anything & 3rd party stuff on any DJI product is a no no.

How is the smart controller 3rd party?

Good specs and still able to keep it at 249g.

Very nice find. I am hoping the Mini 3 Smart RC works with the Mavic 3 as it will be much cheaper that the RC Pro.

Im hoping that the RC Pro becomes ones remote to rule them all,  then it would be worth picking up,   Im not sure I want to replace the smart controller for one that only works with one drone and is probably missing buttons,  like the 5d,  and theres no sign yet of the C1/C2 buttons.

I massively miss the extra buttons that the M2P controller had,   and since getting the regular smart controller I have to say Im a convert,   I was very skeptical about it, as like you I have the latest iPad and 13 pro Max,  but the controller is just so nice to use and I can keep streaming on my iPhone and fly at the same time.

I wouldn't trust that video and it's creator. Speaks of upward sensors (2:04)  which the Mini 3 does not have.
I stopped trusting that YouTuber after he set up transmission failure with the present firmware by choosing a flight path with stone walls and buildings cutting the line of sight.

Sounds nice but I’m still on the fence. It will set me back $1700NZD

I was too for a long time,   I only really picked one up to lock in support for the M2P as more and more devices were working as OS upgrades occurred.    Ive probably doubled how much I fly just because of the ease of it.

Damn, I was hoping that price included the new RC. If the rc was going to work with Mavic 3 I would have bought it just for that but I’m hoping it becomes compatible

I notice its a 20mp, a wee bit better than the 12mp, would that be 4:3 5164 x 3873 and 16:9 5963 x 3354  'ish
What does the E.24 mean on the camera, please?
I wonder if the fstop will be manual like on the P4P, thats sommat i miss on the Mini 2

Id put money on it not being variable aperture,   if only for the weight and the Air2s doesnt even have that.

Oh trust me, I have been toying with this since the launch of the Mavic 3. Even upgraded my phone from iPhone 12 Pro Max to 13Pro Max , also Bought an iPad and iPad mini to convince myself I don't need the RC Pro but temptation is a Sin

I was looking at the new high res. photos.unless I am seeing things one view the camera is vertical,
and another view it looks like the camera is horizontal ,the letting on the camera seems like it vertical,
then horizontal in another view.Maybe i'm looking at it goofy.
