is it possible to use the LiDAR system separately from the Ronin?  Can I use it on any other camera for distance sensing only?  If so, how?  thank you

Livox MID-40 can be bought for $600 but you have to mount it and program it yourself. That's why the lidar packages are so expensive, they include software, accurate location beacon, the lidar unit, onboard computer etc.

That's right, my question is if I buy the Dji lidar system, can I make it work for distance measurement on any camera?  If so, how?
