Really nice find DA.    That controller is a bit of a step down from the RC Pro.  Darren didn't seem to think that you'd be able to add any 3rd part Apps which is a slight negative.

They’ve got to do something though for that price it’s going to really hurt rc pro sales of it had basically the same features.   I’m personally quite put off it and want the RC Pro if they update it.  Which they had better.

I love the RC Pro and the Mini 3 Pro controller is definitely a step down in functions.  In any case I still plan on getting that version for the grandson and just keep hoping I'll be able to use the RC Pro with the Mini 3.  No doubt I'll have to wait on a FW upgrade.  

For the £859 price, its not bad considering, if it was the RC pro then you'd be looking at an extra £400 to 500

The RC Pro is £879 on its own,   I bet they would charge you more like an extra £700 for that one.

I think thats definitely the controller upgrade I will get for it,  assuming the smart controller doesnt see an update (hahahahaha)

I'm really hoping the SC and RC Pro get a FW update to make them compatible with the Mini 3 Pro.  Unfortunately, that make take some time for DJI to release.

Me too,    I think I will wait and see how well the new controller performs in real reviews before I make my final decision.  I just *NEED* to find the will power.

Yeah, that might be hard to do.  However, money wise you'd be better off to wait, especially if the SC becomes compatible with the Mini 3.

Yeah...I'm also waiting to see if the original SC will get an update.  I was ready to purchase the whole Mini 3 enchilada until I discovered the new RC does not have HDMI out.  I like to fly with goggles 50% of the time so it's a no go for me.  I'll be sticking with my M2z and mini2.

Yeah, can't say as I blame you one bit for waiting..  I really love the HDMI out on the RC Pro controller I got with an Air 2S bundle.
