I am about to SHOOT MYSELF.

I bought the iPad Groundstation.  After installing everything, I realized my old iPad 2 would not work with the BTU unit.

I bit the bullet and got a new iPad, since my old one was, well ... old.

I got the iPad Air 2, as it seems to be the newer model and THE ONLY ONE that Apple carries.  They DO NOT... I repeat they DO NOT CARRY iPad 3 or iPad 4 anymore.

Am I reading this correctly ?    The BTU module is compatible with  iPad 3, iPad 4 and iPad Mini ????

You must truly be kidding me.   Is my iPad TOO NEW to work with the Groundstation ?  It has Bluetooth 4.0.

I am using a DJI F550.  Flight controller is NAZA M V2.0 powered by the E300.

The iPad is a Apple iPad Air 2 MH0W2LL/A (16GB, Wi-Fi, Gold).    It is one of the newest ones I could find.

I have updated all the firmware, on the Naza, the Datalink and the BTU.

I turned on the F550, with it's radio, and on GPS mode.  I power up the Datalink with a 4S lipo, but my iPad does not ever connect.

The air end shows one solid green light, and one blinking green light.

The ground end shows one solid green light and one blinking RED light.

What should I do ?

Did you connect with the Controller and name it? That is on the first time use under settings. The iPad has to connect with the MC through the software.
