It will be visible in the early hours from hilltops or high-rise buildings,

I am thinking about the Mini3 as well.

I just get fed up with waiting for a GPS fix and som crazy problems with RC PRO

It will be really  disappointing if these problems filter down to the Mini3
And the non-availablity of the battery for longer flight time, in the UK, is not a good sign.
