Yes - Went through a lockdown in France for 3 months ... Was nearly a holiday compared to this one

Yes, and we are lucky ... This is every 48 hours ... But in some places, it is on a daily basis and no fixed time ...

Can be after breakfast, in the middle of the afternoon, or at 2:00 am ...

It will have to, not only for me but for all the people who need to work in order to make a living ...

Anyway, after more than 20 years in China, I am getting out finally ...

This kind of situation will happen again unfortunately and with two young kids, life is just impossible, especially with the consequences you face if testing positive (even though you are asymptomatic) or just being a contact case ... Basically they send you to a camp with thousands of other people ...

That's a red line for me that they should not have crossed ...

I feel your pain. We decided we'd had enough after 15 happy years in France, when Brexit blew it up in our faces.  Add to that the Covid crisis which occured at the same time, and getting back to the UK was an absolute nightmare.  I know the stress you must be feeling.  Good luck!

Indeed ... The aftermath economically speaking will be dramatic ...

Indeed, I hope that the pressure will be released for everyone ...

Because, we have a choice, we can leave with out backup plan ... Unfortunately, most local people here don't have this luxury ...

I quite enjoyed the lockdown here.    It was a nice change of pace and I got lots of time outdoors.
