Checking all changes on this firmware v01.00.07 00 The only one causes me confusion is this one.

Any clues?

Previous FW version was intended to "fix" the GPS aquisition time so I don't think is related to.

Well they are both connected. Your homepoint will now lock quicker.

I’m confused as to what that exactly entitles as well but I do know that it has improved the gps so I don't know what’s going on.

Damage control.
It means that they fixed the serious GPS acquisition problem that plagued the Mavic 3 for 6 months.
But they don't want to admit there was a problem or that it took 6 months to fix.

Well thanks for the clarification.
The previous FW supposedly fixed that. However, I did not notice any improvement.
Anyway, I’ll fly today in a few hours but I’m not as optimistic as I would.
I’ll keep you all posted.

I felt my M3 did get GPS quicker on the last 3 flights since the update, 2 of those were likely full cold starts.  However, 2 of the 3 were very open with nearly 180 degree view of the sky.

Well, after a couple of flights from the same home point, It was reasonably quick, less than 2 minutes. So far it seems like they somehow fixes the issue.
