I have seen posts in which people have stated the RTH button does not work in Manual mode, but what if you loose signal in Manual mode, does RTH not work then? If not, does it just plummet to the ground?

Once it loses signal, it should brake and return to N Mode and RTH according to how you have RTH setup in it.
