AUSTRALIAN
a journey (originally on foot) undertaken by an Australian Aboriginal in order to live in the traditional manner.
Throw him away foot.

Went on a short walk around taking my spark, pocket2, and mini2 to get a breath of fresh air and get in touch with nature.
The pocket2 did most of the work (poor little bugger) while the spark followed (keeping me on a leash) and the mini2 went up for a (veiled) view of the surrounds.
Of course there was more footage (pun intended) but time will tell (I'm told) if it gets to air at all.
.
At the end of this clip I encountered a small building in the middle of nowhere - I was about to take a peek inside when, with shock I realised - and I borrow from Dave Bowman in Stanley Kubrick's movie 2001 A space odessey - "My God! It's full of" bees!

Hope you enjoy

A great ramble Droff. It's amazing what can be discovered when just wandering about. Yesterday we went to see the Well Dressings in deepest Derbyshire

What an awesome place to take a walkabout Droffarc.  Great job on the video.

You know, you could gear up and probably rob a little honey from that building,

To bee or not to bee, that is the question. Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to face a room full of bees all yelling "Buzz off"  and thereby overcome them, or one's quietus make with a bare body

The last time I had a bee in my bonnet (helmet) some years ago on a solo motorcycle trip in the Oudsthoorn area of the little karoo I had to spend a day in a 1 man tent under a small tree for shade

That happened to my dad as well but it was because my brother is a honey bee farmer among a lot of other things like welder, etc and they became agitated at my dad and attacked him. He looked like that for quite awhile!

Ouch!  That was one mad bee for sure.

I think he was just going about his beesniss when I bumped into him. I could feel him walking dazedly around my eyebrow so stopped to take off the helmet - that was the bee's Q.
What ensued was a (from a bystander's view) comedic sequence of events that led to me almost dropping my bike to get to my first aid kit under the seat  - stupid place to store it .

Looking back you can probably chuckle a little about the incident but I bet panic was ensuing during the event.  I know I would have been panicking.

It certainly was an INCEDENT which made a huge impact on my trip itinerary. I had planned to go to "the Hel" in the Swartberge - a tricky 4x4 route, but in light of this beesnis changed my mind since it is not conducive to riding a motorcycle when you can only see with one eye.

A day later I did suffer an off in the Garcia pass, which terminated my trip - now THAT was panic.

Looking back - I'll do it all again - sans bee of course

Unfortunately it does not feature DJI (some years ago circa 2004-8) so It will not be shown here, only on my channel

I didn't use forum points,  my local supermarket awards points as you spend and you can redeem them at a handful of retailers, one of which sold the Mini3.
