When I first saw the covers, I placed the order for the orange ones.
I was looking inside the motors and saw yiny wires on the amature and thinking what if the dust get in there!
They were well made and very light.
Once install I made sure that the propellers still move freely because if the cover is even a little off center, the propeller will get stuck.
So far so good.

But then I have a second thought:

1. Cooling: will the cover block the air flow (downdraft) from the propeller? I checked the motor temperature by hand as soon as it landed and felt cool.
2. Not much dirt  where I fly and perhaps much less chance once it’s in the air.

What do you think?

Will they not impede a cooling airflow over the motors? And will they tip the take-off weight over 250gm? I don't see any advantage to be gained?

They look very nice but what about the motors over heating, it blocks the air from flowing into the motors to cool them down.

Looks cool but agree with it being in the wrong forum section and that it would probably cause problems for it overheating.
