Hi Guys,

My old oneplus6 just broke (RIP) and I replaced it with the Nokia G21 (android 11).

I have installed the DJI Fly app just fine without any issues, however whenever I plug the USBc->USBc cable from the RC to the phone, it connects for 5-6 seconds, disconnects and then immediately reconnects, resulting in the fly app never connecting with my phone. I have tried another USBC cable, I have the same issue. I tried the included cable with my wifes Hauwei and it works fine.

Is there a software/firmware limitation that is preventing the RC from connecting with the Nokia G21? As it was released very recently, i think late May.

Please let me know if there is any help anyone can offer

Hello there Noah. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. After checking the mobile device ( Nokia G21 - Android 11 ) that you are using on the DJI Fly application. I am sorry to say that the mobile device is not yet recommended for the DJI application. DJI suggests using a recommended mobile device for the DJI Fly application for compatibility and reliability purposes. There is a possibility that the Nokia G21 - Android 11 will be able to work on the DJI Fly application. But however, since it's not yet optimized with the said DJI application we cannot guaranteed if it will work all the time and if it will be able to run all the functions of the DJI Fly application while using it. For reference I will post a link where in you can check the recommended mobile devices for the DJI Fly application ( https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly ). Kindly please rest assure that our DJI R&D Team are continuously testing multiple mobile devices to be added on the list of recommended mobile device for the DJI Fly application in the future. Thanks Stephen, I know the G20 works...as there is another forum post whereby someone confirmed it works on their device.

Really hope some kind of support is added for my device

you may also check that the usb c input on the rc is not damaged. if you know anyone else that has a mini 2 you might want to try your phone on there rc.

I tried the same cable to my wifes phone which worked fine, this would rule out an issue with the cable or USBC input I think, I wish it was the cable tho

Yeah unfortunately dont know anyone who owns a mini 2
