Hopefully a DJI staffer can chime in on this.
Have only flown MINI 3 a couple of times. After most recent fw update the RC no longer charges.
No LEDs are illuminated when it is plugged in with USB-C.
Beyond frustrating.
Have tried the fast charger for original Smart Controller and various other power cubes and cables without success.

Can you connect to the RC using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series)?  If so, refresh the firmware to see if that helps eliminate the issue.
