*** UPDATE 6/7/22 - appears DJI have now resolved this issue with this v1.6.8 app at their end, and also released a v1.6.9 update today ***


Since updating to the DJI Fly App 1.6.8 on the RC Pro it appears the map functionality no longer works in live view as well as when looking at older flights and trying to replay. I tried to roll back to install the previous version of the app 1.6.6 but it wouldn't install from APK file - is it possible to downgrade this somehow? Would applying the firmware achieve this?


Is anyone else having this issue?  The buttons down the side of the screen don't seem to work either, to change map type etc.  I updated via the app itself, otherwise it appears "OK" so far.

Yes, this same issue is also happening with v1.6.8 on the DJI RC and is getting a lot of attention in the Mini 3 Pro group.

My mapbox did not show after upgrading to 1.6.8, had to reset RC Pro to factory settings !!

Hi.  Same issue here!    (RC Pro w/ Fly App 1.6.8 and Mavic 3)   Tried to fly, but maps was a complete blank like yours.   
Came here to see if anyone else had this issue.   Thank you for confirming its "another" issue w/ DJI.

Thanks, appears also a problem on the rc controller as well from other posts with the app - hopefully can be fixed soon. Is there a way to roll back to previous version of the app or do you need to do a full restore of the controller?

On the RC Pro, go to home screen--->settings--->apps--->DJI FLY, then click on the 3 dots on the top right hand corner, then select 'uninstall updates'. This will revert your FLY app to 1.6.6

As of 5/7/22 appears this issue is now resolved.  Read on another post that it works, just did the in app update 1.6.8 (1635-official) same version as before, and maps now showing, so presume they fixed something the DJI servers/services end.

Yup.... I'm having this same low resolution maps issue as well. Really irritating!

Hopefully DJI will sort it out soon.
