Hello,

Good day!

Before I fly my mavic air, I check the battery which is full of charge, then suddenly it crashed due to critically battery low, this was on my two batteries, i charge batteries but the battery charger indicator comes with color red.

Any work around to resolved the issue?

Thanks

Hello there alpar. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Can you please try to check if the DJI intelligent flight battery is properly placed on your DJI Mavic Air. In addition this issue was due to battery communication is not working properly. I would recommend checking the pins on the battery as well on the DJI Drone if it has damage. If none, you may clean the pins using the dry soft brush to check if there will be changes or if you would encounter this error message again. Please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

The first thing to do would be to see more information on the battery.
For that we'd need to see the recorded flight data from the flight you mentioned.
That would show the actual cell voltages for the battery.

Go to: https://www.phantomhelp.com/LogViewer/Upload/
... where you'll find instructions to upload the data to that site and it will give a report
For help interpreting the data you can post a link for the report here.
Or just post the .txt file.

Sorry I am a newbie, can you point out how to extract or retrieve the recorded flight data or the information on the battery?

Thanks

flightlogs are saved on your mobile device. (or RC ofcourse)
use the link in previous post #4 to find the logs on your device.

Hello,

Here's the link of my Flight log

Hi alpar,

In both flightlogs the same battery warning : "Battery Temp Voltage Low"
Shortly after this the battery % from normal 86 and 91 to ZERO.
From x% to ZERO will happen when 1 or more cells gets really low in voltage.
This Zero value dictates a ForcedLanding.

Cell 3 voltage drops to low value. batt ser no.  0K4XF5294301WX
Cell 2 voltage drops to low value. batt ser no.  0K4XF5294301YG

2 bad batteries.

cheers
JJB

You only flew for 70 sec and started at 91 percent ended 84%, I'd suggest a full charge and then hover it, as you did, until the charge level is in the 20's.

Hi,

Not good....

Cell #3 drops below 3.3 volt, cell #1 #2 drops also below 3.3 volts.
Not normal cell values for batt % > 84%.
At start (91%) values oke but should be little higher: #1 = 4,104, #2 = 4.096, #3 = 4.095 Volts

Mayby drain and reload to 100% and try to fly again, but just hover closeby and low....

Hi,

Uh, what dont you like about your battery values?

See my chart of your data.
At15% battery all 3 cell values > 3.3 volts, so imo nothing to worried about.

Cell deviation few times in flight > 100mVolts, but this when asking lots of power (100% Up + 100% forward), and during RTH (pitch down to 30 - 32 degees, so guess flying into some wind)
cheers

JJB, in places, and as I understand it, the log reports battery currents, "BATTERY.current [A]" Amps?, in excess of 20.
Can that be correct or is my understand wrong?

yes   high amps > 20 is possible

Thanks JJB*   for analysis.

I saw the below from Airdata and was a little scared.

I always check my battery cell deviations after eacht flight
imo if cell deviation is only for short period > 100 or 150 mVolt than i am not worried.
If battery get worse than this short moments will seen more frequently and for longer periods in flight.
But always check in relation to user power demands.

cheers
JJB
