I've been using the 4D a lot recently and have had this pop up on the screen intermittently. I can't seem to replicate any circumstance when it happens, but while it's on the screen, I can't change any settings or use the menu until I restart the camera and the error message goes away. The batteries are brand new and can be fully charged and it still occurs. Has anyone had this issue too? Sort it out DJI.

Hey DJI - bumping this thread because I'm still waiting on a response for this issue? It's becoming really frustrating and looks really unprofessional in front of clients.

1) What version of the firmware are you running?

2) Have you tried re-installing /refreshing the firmware?

3) Have you tried doing a full factory reset?

Currently on v.01.03.0200
Have tried reflashing too, but no change.
Have tried full factory resets and using different TB50s and the problem still persists.

Hi -

Having this issue as we speak. Camera records fine, but screen/settings are locked out during recording and a battery warning message appears. Battery capacity is at 91%. Latest firmware installed, and a factory reset has been performed. Very unpredictable. Also, record button on handle and body seem to not work after filming for long periods of time, but I can record from the touch screen.

I have experienced this exact issue with multiple 4D cameras. In each case I have confirmed the firmware is up to date, the batteries are fully charged and there has been no damage to any component. Three different cameras from three totally separate owners. Since it has been happening I have been trying to determine if there is any particular circumstances when it happens. In my experience it is when I have been constantly recording for an extended period of time. Most recently, it happened when in the middle of shooting actors in a moving car over the course of an hour. We were shooting 3 angle coverage. The first two angles went perfectly. Then on the third shot of the sequence, about 45 minutes into constant running ,3 batteries did the exact same thing within minutes of one another. These were all fresh, fully charged batteries. All displayed the same "Low battery, powering off.." message. We had to wrap and move on. I love this camera (when it works) and am trying to promote shooting with it exclusively on projects. But this issue does not make the 4D look very professional. On this past project. I turned the camera off completely and left it alone for about 30 minutes. Turned it back on and everything was fine with all the batteries, the ones that had been saying "Low battery, powering down.." only minutes before. DJI, please listen to us. This is a real thing that needs to be fixed. The legitimacy of this product is at risk.
