I really wish Cine-mode wasn't just drastically reduced max rates, but more of an accumulator mode, where it would start on an expo accumulating a turn or pan or climb (or gimbal up/down).  Basically, even at full stick, it would smoothly start moving just very little and the longer you hold it at max, the more it accumulates to the max rate turn/pan/etc.  So now, stick input is indicating a delta change over time.  Same for return to center or reversing sticks, it would SLOWLY start accumulating less and less rate back to zero (granted for emergency stops, you could have the press RTH/Pause just zero out instantly).  This would really make nice, smooth camera pans fun, and smooth, BUT allow you to plan and very slowly alter rates.  Obviously, being able to specify a time constant for time to half rate would be awesome and then just make it act on an expo curve...this would make a pro level shot sooo easy if you planned it out.
