Very interesting shot DA.    I'm still trying to figure out if that is an athletic field or something else.  Maybe I need to go get another coffee and take a 2nd look.

Nice shot this. From the markings, it looks like an American football field, lines at 5 yard intervals with each yard  marked along the sidelines, and the "coaching box", which seems to be disregarded during actual games. Thanks for sharing.

Its a field at the local school.   so multi use would be my guess.

Im not sure,  but who ever did it spent a lot of time laying out those markings.   Ive never seen so many of them.   

We got up to 38.2c yesterday and the bedroom was 28c all night.     I went out early and we hit 30c by 8am.

We're playing it safe, staying indoors with the windows ajar for a through draught. Drinking plenty. Feeling comfortable.  Venturing outdoors soon drives us back into shelter.

I think most people are,   the last two days the local nature reserve was empty,  it was nice as the rabbits were all out on the paths when I came along,  you never see that.    But judging bye the railway station carpark its not deterring people using the trains.

Ive put another parasol up over the bbq and will be making outdoor paella tonight,  need to make the most of it as we have a yellow warning for thunderstorms tomorrow.

Yes. its not the first time Ive tried to capture it,  but even when I see it out and then send the drone over they  have put it away,    I think they are messing with me.

I went over there this afternoon and again nothing going on,  but I did shoot one of the circular railway line.

Well, at least you got something out of the trip over.  

On another note my grandson gave me a call this morning to let me know his Mini 3 is working really good.  He flew out to 1600 meters without a disconnect.  Wonder if it makes a difference since his was made 2022-06?  Anyway, glad he is having  no problems, but he did say he got a blackscreen on Day 1 but none since.  No SD card popping out, etc.

Interesting,  I flew on Friday to look for a V2 bomb crash location and got my first black screen,  its not very pleasant,  I guess 1 in 1160km isn't too bad.

I'd consider that an isolated incident.  Any luck finding the old V2 bomb crash?

I thought it was an athletics track setup for multiple race types.
