Wind was a lot calmer but this beats of a drine handles the wind quite well.

Never even considered an ancient seabed, but could well have been at one time.  As a scuba diver it is always amazing at how often we find things that used to be above the water levels but are not deep down.  So many changes over the many years this planet has been around.

So true! They have found ancient Plesiosaurs Fossils not far from here but still to find that giant Seahorse

That would have been one giant seahorse.    

It always amazes at how many countries, mine included, are racing into space in search of other planets when 71% of the earth's surface is covered in water and the oceans and seas account for 97% of that and nobody is making a major effort on underwater exploration. Maybe the are too afraid of the sharks.

I think it's because they will find a Megalodon, it's been seen on Google Maps satellite so it must be a thing...

Used to use Nik, was the best in the business I reckon but about 3 years ago I moved solely to SNS-HDR Pro  https://www.sns-hdr.com/

You know how with Nik it could give noise when pushing things? No such trouble with SNS. It's also my default editor for Standard edits and HDR's. Can give vey natural HDR's which I take a lot. It also has a really cool masking feature that lets you paint in a layer of edits but will selectively select the tones under your mouse when you first start painting and you can use this weak through to very strong in terms of the effect, very powerful.

I have been talking to the author and looks like an update coming in September that will include a way outside of the histogram to see if you have gone outside image bounds which will be a great addition.

Just looking through the same images and they've used a bunch from Gavin Hardcastle,  I follow him over on YouTube but Ive never seen him use the software.    certainly looks like it creates some dynamic shots.

It's surprising he doesn't promote more as it seems first class software I initially found it researching HDR software but found it could do so much more. Everything here is edited with it...

I love how it can add contrast within tonal bands in the "advanced" tab, pretty powerful. Can really bring images alive.

If you see an H click on it and it changes either the high or low range you are targeting. The L changes the associated graph from colour based to brightness based so on the adjustment graph you either change the brightness of a certain colour or colours or switch to brightness mode and can change brightness of targeted brightness's, again really powerful!

In all my dives I can say with certainty that I've never seen a megalodon.  However, while on a dive boat off Los Cabos, Mexico I saw a blue whale that was at least twice as long as the 50 foot boat I was on.  That was one big whale to see. The Captain of the dive boat said that he had seen blue whales in that area in the past but nothing as big as the one we saw that day.

That is one huge whale only ever seen one washed up on a remote beach. Would be something else to see one alive like that.  

You will have seen some amazing sights on those dives. Another world down there...
