Hi DJI Support. Most all camera file numbering systems use sequential filing. Where once the internal or SD Card is formatted - the last file number created stays in memory. So the next file created after formatting - stays in sequence. If you can implement sequential file numbering after formatting in a firmware update - that would be appreciated and in keeping with other camera systems.
Right now I have been holding off formatting my 256 GB micro SD to help minimize repeats of file number DJI_0001. This is not optimal as most times we format our cards once the files have been transferred out. Here is a Youtube screenshot that notes the same suggestion/issue.
