Hi

I want to do this to use the Simulator software and so I can transfer data from the controller to my laptop. I have tried connecting the supplied USB A to USB C cable to the laptop before and after starting the controller and into both USB C sockets (one for charging and I think the other marked HOST for future mobile dongle maybe) but whatever I do nothing happens on the PC.

The PC is a Win 11 laptop and the account I am using for this process full admin rights so I should be able to set up a new device. The simulator software is installed and runs fine but is useless without a controller.

On the controller I get a message saying I am already connected to the PC but nothing else changes - no extra menu that I can find.

Anyone any thoughts on what to try next?

Does the other Mini 3 Pro controller that uses a phone work with the simulator?

There’s lots of stuff on the DJI web site about the joy of the simulator but no mention of the fact that it doesn’t work if you’ve bought their latest and greatest drone!

Its quite old and only supports the older controllers -

Mavic Air, Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Advanced, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, Matrice 100, Matrice 600, Matrice 600 Pro, Inspire 1 Series, DJI Smart Controller, and Lightbridge 2.
