There is no intelligent Flight modes functional when flying within an unlocked geozone.
No object tracking, etc., nothing.

Has been reported to DJI techs with ticket #4430836 about a month ago,
Since then no more replies and no updates. Seems like this ticket has fizzed out.

Any improvement in that area? I'll have to go and reshoot the same area when this is fixed..

I'm a beginner without any knowledge of your drone but have this problem when my Mavic Air is in Sport mode, could that be your problem as well???

In my case this is not related to Sports mode, happens in all of them.
Not sure if you can even do intelligent flight modes in Sport, I would have thought most of them being disabled (like obstacle ovoidance)

I don't know if considered intelligent flight mode, but I did several Hyperlapses in an unlocked zone just a few weeks ago.

This is still happening now (25/07/2024) and this is very annoying.
I have industrial equipment to shoot, I need 'Object Tracking' to shoot 200+ stills for photogrammetry. I am aware and flying within all restrictions, under 45m etc etc. This is all legal. No reason to lock down such a vital function makes absolutely no sense.
Fine if you lock down 'Mastershots' and everything else for that matter, but there's no risk whatsovever with object tracking @DJI Paladin
