My mini 3 pro sometimes refuses to start on the first try, when I short press and then long press the button on the drone, it shuts down but when I then try a second time it works fine. Anyone else experienced this?
Best regards

The power up procedure should be a click and then a long press. The short press might be what's causing it to not recognise the power up command.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble. For you to properly turn on your unit, you need to press and hold the power button located on the back end of the drone. The first press will show you the battery charge level, and the second press and hold will power the drone. Should you have other inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach us. Thank you for your valued support.

Definitely a fault with the battery or drone.

Does this happen with other batteries (if you have any more)?

I would not recommend flying this drone until it's fixed.

I have 3 original batteries, no difference between them. The drone always start on the second attempt! There is no problem when flying, no error messages.

I would suggest flashing the firmware. Each battery will also need to have the FW updated, which is a lengthy process, as you have to flash the whole firmware each time.

Whilst you aren't getting any warnings, you are seeing a power issue. Pretty much the most important thing to remaining in the air is that the power distribution is reliable, which yours isn't. So I would refrain from flying for now until you've exhausted all possible solutions.

I agree with this 100%, it needs resolving one way or another as it cannot be trusted...

I'm afraid I will get the 30064 error (unable to take off) if I refresh the firmware with the PC DJI Assistant. There are many threads about it.

I shouldn't have to say this, but it's better that it can't take off than fall out the sky. I feel your prioirties aren't in order.

Only the first is the lengthy one as it flashes the drone and battery.  Any subsequent flash which only flashes the battery is quite quick.

I have now noticed that this usually happens when I change a battery in my drone. Strange!? Perhaps a firmware issue?
