I'm new to Gyroflow so please excuse the ignorance

I've transferred the video files from the internal memory of my Avata to my Win10 machine and loaded it into Gyroflow. Gyroflow can't find a lens profile and motion data for the video. What I am I missing here?

Make sure electronic image stabilization (rocksteady) is turned OFF.
And field of view is set to "Wide" and NOT "ultra-wide".
Otherwise, you won't get the data recorded.

Having the same issue.file size is approx 2.6gb EIS is off and capture method set to wide. Other shorter videos I captured on the same day with the same settings work with no issue. Any ideas why gyroflow not recognizing lens settings?

Same problem.  I have EIS off, set to wide, but no gyro data showing

Edit - think I found the problem.  When I updated my goggles to allow me to fly the Avata, it didn't update the drone.  I am operating on 0.05.**  So need to update the Avata firmware and I suspect it will work fine.

My firmware is all up to date. Strange thing is that some footage contains gyro info but others don’t. Any ideas ?

I just downloaded GyroFlow, hopefully this gets figured out soon.

It's working fine for me with EIS off and FOV set to wide.

Three things are required:
- firmware v01.01.0000 or newer on the drone
- EIS: off
- FOV: wide

If you have all 3 of the above, you’ll get gyro data.

Got all the settings you suggested and still having some videos showing no gyro info while others have

These aren’t files you’ve merged are they?  The v1.2 release version of Gyroflow had some problems with merging files.  The latest dev version resolved that problem, but not sure if that’s what you are running into.  

Unmerged files. Had a warning during the flight that the googles IMU needed calibration not sure if this might affect gyro info

I had the same problem. try to re-input the file into Gyroflow, that worked for me.

Doesn't work for me, either. Everything updated.

Update: Never mind. Works great.

I had the same issue (no gyro data in avata video files) had already updated that afternoon and checked firmware again as was not unto version v01.01.0000 doing that fixed it for me.

Would gyro info depend on flying in normal or manual mode ?

I have rocksteady off and FOV set to Wide  and when I drop my file into Gryroflow it tells me that no gyro data is available for the video.    I am updated on the goggles and drone both to the most recent DJI firmware.

I also just re-updated the drone and goggles both to the newest firmware and still no gyro data?   

this is frustrating because I have some cool clips, I want to stabilize!   hate to keep flying them and flying them and it's not working!!

I found a solution: make sure your sd card is within the drone itself, not in the googles. Previously when my card was in the googles it did not record any gyrodata.

Having the same issue. Tried the taking off and landing with all modes in the same pack but issue persists. Any fixes yet?

I also can't get it to work.
I am certain that I have all these:

But still, I get the message: "File format was detected, but no motion data was found. The camera probably doesn't record motion data in this particular shooting mode." in Gyroflow when I try to import the mp4 files.

Same issue here

I don't know if this is the issue, and I'm not suggesting that anyone is doing this, but be sure the footage is from the Avata and NOT the goggles. All goggles footage is raw, only the Avata footage is going to have the gyro data in it. Hope this helps someone

Recording on the avata,
Firmware is updated to the latest

And Still I'm unable to have gyro data with the recording ... anything else I should try ?

It's working, it turned out I had to update the drone's Firmware V01.01.0200

Originally the gyro data was saved as a separate file.
With the updates the gyro data is now INSIDE the .mp4 file.
GoPro files work like this.
Try dragging and dropping (or importing) only your .mp4 files into Gyroflow.
