So I went for my first flight with the Avata this morning. I didn't plug into my mobile so the Fly app wasn't connected. The drone flew absolutely fine therefore apart from the benefit of using Find my Drone feature what are the other benefits of using the app? Isn't it just easier to fly without it or am I missing something?

There is no need for the Fly App during a flight...

The fly app is mainly used for activation and updates, in normal use you don't need it.

You can use the fly app to display a goggles view onto your mobile device, if its connected to the goggles using a USB-C lead.
