I have been impressed with what I have seen of the new DJI AVATA FPV drone and went to look for pricing information the other day. The first store I clicked on flashed up a warning that in Australia FPV drones are not legal and can only be used indoors under controlled circumstances or with a BVLOS permit or something to that effect. Does anyone have any clear information on this? Thanks

I’m pretty sure I’ve been hoovered by the new Avata and I’m in North Queensland. This was only a few days ago.

It all depends if the people watching are upset by it, to go to the length of identifying both the drone and the user’s ID.
