I have tried to transfer footage from the main module onto the micro so card on the attached module. Went through the whole process which can take some time, but when I try to transfer the footage presumably stored on the sd card using an adapter and connecting to my iPad Pro, it shows nothing on the card. I have been using a sandisk extreme pro card.

Hello there. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please try using a different suggested microSD card for us to be able to isolate the issue. For reference I will post the list of supported microSD card for the DJI Action 2 below. Thank you.

I’m using the sandisk extreme pro cards as recommended by DJI. Even tried the same products with the same issue, yet the cards work fine with mavic 3.

With the card in the camera, can you play the files from it just on the camera itself?  That's step one (to show that they are actually there).  If they are not there, are they still in the camera module?  Once the transfer is complete, normally the files would be deleted automatically from the camera module.  If they are still on the camera itself, it indicates that the transfer didn't happen for some reason.

I’ve a funny feeling that even though it is showing that the transfer is in progress, it’s not taking place as the footage is still on the camera module. I’ve tried everything to gentle wiping the points(connections) etc, making sure the two units are connected as they do tend to snap together with strong magnets. The only other way that I can view footages on a larger screen is through DJI mimo.

Okay,I’ve just done another recording on the camera module, then attached the screen module onto it and done a transfer from the camera module to the so card. Disconnected both modules and can confirm that the transfer did take place as the file has been removed from the camera one. Connected both modules and can confirm that I can playback footages from the so card. Removed the sd card and using three kinds of adapters, two of which are apple products, and it still shows no photos to import on my iPad. Very puzzling. The adapters work perfectly with the same sd cards when transferring videos and photos taken with my mavic 3.
