• Bought my first non-Walmart drone, the Mini 2, in April of 2021.
• Bought the Air 2 when it went on sale on Amazon in March of 2022.
• Bought the Air 2s from a friend a few weeks ago.
  

• As soon as I started flying the Mini 2, I was hooked.
• I've bought tons of accessories for all 3 drones.
• Since I got the Mini 2 roughly 520 days ago, I've logged 405 flights.
  

I can't think of a more fun hobby!

I have a similar story to yours. On October 30, 2021 I bought the Mini 2 fly more combo from the Apple Store and then in just 37 days on December 6 I went completely through the window and literally sold both my kidneys and purchased the Mavic 3 fly more combo and then after that I bought the Dji Rc and now I’m looking into getting the Dji Avata and not only that but I got my sister looking into drones now. Flying drones is to say the least an enjoyable and fun hoppy.

Kind of the same thing that happened to me.  Bought a Walmart drone a few years ago, worst experience ever. Didn’t try again until the Mavic Mini. Fell in the rabbit hole. I now have my part 107, a DJI Air 2S, a Mavic 3, and just ordered a DJI RC Pro today.  
It is a fun hobby but I plan to take it to the next level and get into real estate photography here soon.

I mostly got these so that I could answer the question of "Did you buzz my house yesterday?" or "Did you sit and watch my yard the other day?" with "Was the drone in question bright orange, bright green, or blue?"

If it's the Misses your referring to(and I assume it is), just run to the store and just buy one. A week of doing laundry, dishes, and the whole woman stuff and your golden
