This is my wish for the ability for Vision Plus to have a firmware upgrade to take photos while video recording.  Anyone know if this is in development?

I am totally new to this.  Just got mine over the weekend!

I have pretty good luck doing video captures from my videos.  If you are running the video frame rate high enough.  This is with a goPro

+1 would love to be able to snap a photo while shooting video !   Tried to do it today and found I couldn't

This would be great. You can easily pull out stills from a video using VLC but a built-in 14MP shot while recording would be very handy. I'm constantly stopping video just to get a good still.

I get all my pics from taking a screen shot of the video.  I use FSSCREEN.  It's a small program that runs in the background.  When I want a pic, I just push prtscr and it will copy to folder.  Create a folder and put fsscreen in it and slick on fsscreen.exe.  You can get 1000 pics in 1 folder.  I have 6 pics in skypixel now from that little app.
