So here you can see pretty nicely done blind tests, that shows one obvious thing - the new GoPro has much better DR and detail than Osmo 3. That is very sad and wired simualtenesly as Osmo 3 should have a bigger sensor. But if you start comparing cons and pros, GoPro just wins for me, take a look:

GoPro 11 pros:
- quite visibly better DR and detail
- better exposure
- 5.3k up to 60fps
- ability to choose framing in post, going from very wide to a vertical video
- ability to add stabilization in post on top of existing one

GoPro 11 cons:
- priced at 500$
- no fast charging

Osmo Action 3 pros:
- fast charging
- price point (330$)
- wider fov
- a bit better in low light (though it is still so bad that I would not use either camera in this scenario)
- touch screen in front

Osmo action 3 cons:
- image quality compared to GoPro11
- overall stabilization options are worth than GoPro
- no 10 bit at launch

For me personally IQ is a biggie. I was going to get Action 3 just because of its price, but now.. I think I just have to go GoPro because at the end of the day the picture is the morst important thing on this device for me. The only saving grace is that DJI might be substentualy improving its camera quality in the future with updates, if its even possible.   

saying to both camera companies with  out insult
they just hit the market.   like anything new, let it grow on you. enjoy your camera or cameras if its off site or onsite.
