.optimized the flight recorder
.fixed some minor bugs


What ever that means.


After all the problems I had with the AC Firmware: v01.00.0300 causing unable to take off code: 30064 ( which happened to me, now on 0310) I am reluctant to update.

Any one updated yet, what is your experience and any benefit ?

Wanna know this too.  I'm still in 300 updated post dji assistant update which killed most peoples new drones

Well, I did update.
They did fix some issues related to the flight recorder. Previously, if you had lots of logs, the RC would either show flight time of 0, or N/A, or it would take a long time for the actual values to load. That's fixed now.

Another thing I've first noticed with this firmware (and I didn't notice it previously), is change when using the compass screen during flight, the dot representing the RC is normally blue, but when the RC is pointed towards the drone (in both azimuth and elevation), it turns green, so this makes it easier to properly point the RC towards the drone.

One issue I found with the new version of the fly application (both on RC and on the Android phone) is that in the sync flight logs page, the description of what the sync does is now in Chinese even when the the language is set to English.

I haven't seen any other issues so far.

Yeah seen the chinese menu on 1.7.4 on android which is why i havent updated my phones yet   might wait for next update.  Have the RC too so will hold off on that also

On the DJI RC, the Fly App version is 1.7.4(1500-dpad).

I think I'll skip that update then as there are so many reports of issues with that version of the app.

I too, was reluctant to upgrade with all the horror stories out there. But, it went without incident and the bird flies just as well. I got the Chinese language thing too. I used Google Lens to translate, just tells you how to get info over wifi. I’m sure DJI will fix that. I’m using DJI FLY 1.7.4 on iPad to d/l photos and no Chinese language On that.

I’ll hold off on this one for the RC. I rarely fly the RC anyway.

Thanks Andreja for testing out the new firmware.  I'm still a bit reluctant to update to 1.7.4 as I had big issues with it on the DJI RC Pro controller and had to go back to 1.6.9.  Maybe, I'll hold off a bit longer.  

I'm going to skip this one and wait for the next.

Its done this for some time now but its only horizontally, not vertically.

No I have not and as far as I know nobody has had a problem after updating to v .0310.

updated without any issues................... just like previous updates small low prio things are fixed/added..........still waiting for the real important small range fix (RC smart controller)

I updated mine no issues yet except one screen has not English on the flight data auto sync screen...

While in flight my screen on the RC controller turned black and I can’t see anything. Then few seconds later the DJI Fly App keeps shutting down and opening again and again. Good thing is that I can still control the plane to do manoeuvres so eventually I landed the plane blind.

It’s lucky that I only flew my plane within eyesight so I’m able to bring it back. If I got it out of eyesight I would have definitely crashed. This is a very scary thing.

The Chinese Language says

"Automatically back up flight records to the cloud in a Wi-Fi environment, and you can also log in to your account to view or download flight records in the cloud."
