Luckily he avoided that.  

No flying today,  took the MIL to her covid booster and the plan was to do another one of the old vs new pictures on the way back,  unfortunately its tipping it down here today,   shouldn't complain we do need it.

We had the rain yesterday evening. Today has brightened to full sun.

We're setting off at dawn for the short drive to the trailhead. First steps by 07h00, but I doubt we'll be home before 16h00.
Any reports are likely to be Sunday when I've recovered.
This will be my toughest trek so far this year.

In fact there's been very little high tide activity for the last couple of weeks,  I think perhaps the sailing season is over.

Could be the tides are changing as the Fall season rolls in.  

With all the tropical storm activity off the Atlantic Coast I'm seeing quite a bit of really nice waves and the surfers are out in the hundreds.

Yesterday I saw 1 canoe and that was all.    I suspect its due to the cooler weather.

Cooler weather does tend to drive people away from the water (or at least here it does).  That's why I always use an insulated wetsuit.  Speaking of wetsuits I need to call and check on status of my new one that is being made for a custom fit.

I'll have to pay for it upfront.  However, I'm 100% sure that I will not be out a dime once the time comes to settle.  I need to finish the PT and then do my final doctor check-up and then contact their attorney and see if they are going to pay or if we need to go to court.  My PI gathered a wealth of useful information that pretty much assures me prevailing.  Kid's dad will not be wanting this info going public I'm fairly sure.
