Second time lucky.......

This capture is for @Montfrooij - something a little different for him,  I missed it the first time it passed but oddly the following day it passed at the same time and I was able to grab a shot.


Look carefully at the rear and you can see the cloud,  its pressure washing the railway tracks.

I wished Id got the last bit in better to be honest mr B but at least I had a second shot at it,  I learnt yesterday that train spotters have an app for tracking these weird trains.

There's one of those goes through the tunnel from the station now and again. You can hear the squeal of the brushes on the rails as it takes the bend.  But I've never actually seen it.

I used to see a version of this quite often  but with white tanks, until Covid lockdowns hit and this is the second time since then.     As they move quite slow you'd think they would be easier to catch.

It's the usual thing of being there at the right time.  The last time I heard it (I think) was in the middle of the night.

Not that I know off.
They do or did use to spray some chemicals against weed.
But that got restricted.

At a guess I would say they were travelling at 20mph,   most trains travel along there at 45-60mph.

They are investigating different products (now they still use roundup....)
