Gone Fishing.....


Many times Ive flown over an old reservoir that as a kid I would swim in during the summer months,  it was never clear what it was used for,  but now its clear.

Great shot DA.    Lots of green in the trees still so Fall hasn't quite taken over yet.  Looks like a really good place to fish.

Most of the trees have started to turn here,  I think they may be green still is they have lots of water on hand.

You might me onto something,  I have noticed since C19 the fishing places have been much busier,  one even has a burger van at weekends.

Same here.    We had issues at the local hospital this week where they were so busy the ambulances were queuing up for hours outside.

Im reading that with the new strains having quite different early symptoms,  the lack of free testing and the economic pressure we are heading for a perfect storm for another wave.

Yes, on the positive side, a they found that a huge percentage of people still have antibodies from either a vaccination or a previous infection.

Ive seen mixed reporting on that for latest varients,  but Im taking the parents today for their booster jab so I have faith in them.

I'm not going for my next booster.
I have had it now and did not get ill from it.
Apart from a regular cold.
Unless there will be a strain that will give much more symptoms.

Here you have to be over 65 for the booster so I can't get one.   And there's no private boosters available.

Interesting article.  I wasn't aware that drought could bring on a false autumn but it does make sense after reading the article.

I really don't  mind small amounts of rain but to rain steady all day is getting a bit old in a hurry.  Sorry, I guess I shouldn't be complaining when there are areas begging for some rain.

We've not had much rain here lately but things are really greening up again,   I suspect its mostly due to the dew.
