An unplanned crash test. And a better than expected result.....  Very impressed with the strength and build quality of those props guards, although a shame the battery is so quick to pop out....  
(and the micro SD card still just as hard to retrieve...

Interesting crash Ian.  However, the end results are excellent as the Avata made it through.  Shame about the battery popping out on impact.  Slight design flaw?  For sure the SD Card location is a design flaw.

What an amazing little machine.

Tough little quad! Get a battery guard, the battery gets ejected easily.

I think this one is also a good solution for the battery, but DJI could have identified the battery problem before it came to market!
