Hypothetical question here: Would a drone like the DJI mini 2 detect a fake GPS app on your phone if all the real GPS satellites were knocked out for whatever reason?

A more serious concern in some parts of the world is jamming of GPS signals. That happens from time to time in the far north-eastern parts of Norway, and also other places in Europe. The Russian military are testing their GPS jammers, and that affects navigation for air traffic, ships, and drones of course.
In Norway that is a big problem for air traffic, as they rely heavily on GPS for navigation. Sometimes the jamming lasts for hours.

Spoofing the phone GPS will only spoof the controller location, surely. The aircraft uses its own internal GPS to determine its position and apply any flying restrictions.

When you get the ninGPS warning and flight restrictions are imposed, surely that is based on the aircraft GPS, not the phone/controller (in the case of smart controllers) GPS.

So spoofing the phone GPS would only allow you to appear to be somewhere else - which might make for a long walk/swim in the case of an RTH.

I have never watched any dooms say prepper anything also have never read any books or articles on prepping or doomsday just running on facts science and commonsense.

You really should rethink your focus on trying to label fellow humans.

But I can't find any indication that the US government has acknowledged the existance of aliens.
Please point to the evidence you think is available to show they have.

Other information that's out there is the recorded flight data.
Analysis of the data of lost drones hasn't ever shown drone hijacking.
The causes are much less exciting and usually a result of operator confusion or bad piloting.

I very much doubt that you can ... I've seen the flight data from hundreds of incidents and none looked like hijacking.
