So windy here. I've left the drones indoors and ventured out with the Pocket2 for some Slo-Mo action with the high tide breaking against the sea wall.
I got a bit too close.  The Pocket2 was OK on its sturdy tripod, but I got a taste of the briny and wet trouser cuffs

Magnificent slo-mo video Mr. B.    I love how it captures the waves slowly rolling up against the sea wall and then turning it into a spray of water. Nothing like a little salt spray on the face early in the morning.

If it was cold water probably gave you a quick jolt.  Good to know it didn't get on the Picket 2 lens.  Salt water and camera lens don't mix well.

No relatives there. Just visiting some old haunts and a few new ones, and catching up with friends there on the way round.

That’s a nice bit of leeway. The FIL used to live near Bridgend so we’ve made the trip there many times. Leave early, spend the day and get home late.

Limited rationing.  We should be able to do most of our travelling in France on one tankful, as the car does 60 MPG cruising.  So one top-up should suffice.

1 litre petrol 6 speed manual with 140ps.  Problem is we do almost every journey full of shopping and tools etc.  oh and it’s shaped like a brick.

Cruise control is a boon too.  I got up to 62.5 MPG on the trip meter at one point.

Since loosing adaptive cruise on this car I tend to use the speed limiter

When I fill the tank to the brim the autonomy (range) indicator logs about  800 miles. But I reckon I could exceed that. We should have enough.
