These are all just beta tests for military applications, and knocking down spy drones.  It's easier and cheaper to test first with commercial UAV's.  

Its just paranoia..

This is talking about sound - not microwaves. So perhaps we should not be looking to fly over noisy parties with loud music booming and possibly irresponsible people cooking chicken in microwave ovens with the door open -

When Boeing gets this thing to operate off of house hold current, I'll give my units the Disco Ball mirror treatment.

On a side note, right now the Boeing laser doesn't make any sounds and laser light isn't viewable by the person operating it. They honestly are talking about adding the Star Wars laser sound so that the operator will know that they are shooting.

Clever idea - glitter decals / livery for the P3. As for Star Wars pshuh-pshuh sounds how does that help them to know the laser has hit the target? Next we need someone to invent an ingenious way to bend light so the phantom can become invisible...
