Nice find DA.    Very short video but he does make some good points about building muscle memory and getting the feel for manually flying the drone.

I have no doubt you have plenty of muscle memory built up over all the feet flown.

It's also how the drone reacts to stick inputs.  And of course changng the EXP can change that too.

I try not to "monkey around" with the EXP settings too much.  I'm afraid I'll get the settings too far out of whack.

I would say you can always reset them back to defaults but I seem to recall there is a bug with that button,  or at least there was.

I haven't tried to do that on the RC so anytime I monkey with the EXP settings I write down what they were before I start fooling with the settings.  

Speaking of settings with the last Fly App upgrades I had several settings revert back to the stock settings.  So good think I keep a record of my preferred settings.  Just a little time consuming to go through and check each and every setting though.

I lost my Raw photo option as I discovered this morning when I went to download my footage off the sd card.

Ahhh, so it reverted to JPEG only.  That's not a setting you'd expect to change but I guess anytime a major Fly App update comes out we need to reverify all the settings.

Whatever works is a good way to look at it.  You hate to lose footage by not checking it so I'd just play it safe and give a cursory check to the settings, especially after a major update.  

Speaking of updates I see where a new update came out today for both my RC and RC Pro.  

I sure wish they'd add "cruise control" to the Mini 3.

Yes I did mine already but Im not seeing anything new for the Mini 3.

How are you getting on with the Freewell VND filters. they just became available here but Ive not yet found a single review on them.

Typical Freewell filters - well made of quality material.  They fit perfectly. I've been keeping the 2-5 stop filter on my Mini 3 as it is very convenient to have on from the start of a bright sunny day all the way to sunset.  I'm just a rookie with using filters so take my input as such.

On one of my shots I saw a tiny bit of vignetting in the lower right hand corner but the camera was facing almost towards the afternoon sun so it was probably just user error and not the VND filters.  I think it was set on stop 5 at the time.

Sounds promising,   I just find it bizarre there are no reviews out there.

That is very unusual.  Normally, you see reviews come up quickly on new items from Freewell.
