I prefer the local composition with todays shot but that causes me some issues with the pigeons.    Just lately for about 20 minutes before to 20 minutes after sunset 1000's of pigeons fly south along that stretch.  It's the weirdest thing.

It must affect their biological clocks.  Rain has arrived here now, too

It's also seasonal as it didnt happen in the summer.

No1 daughter likes to meet the sunrise at summer and winter solstice on a hill somewhere. Wants to drag me out for this winter's one.  I'm not too keen

Wow, what a spectacular sunrise capture.    Great framing of the 2 boats and their reflections in the shallow water are really nice.

It's a composition I really like,    suspect I will go to use that one again to find the boats had been taken out of the water.    Most of them from there have already gone.

Very cold here this morning,     after all the shenanigans of yesterday and not getting back from the hospital near midnight last night I was in two minds whether to go for my sunrise walk,   but as the forecast was for full sun I dragged myself out and was totally disappointed.  SHMBO'd is still snoozing.
