Is there a way to connect DJI RC to DJI ASSISTANCE 2 Consumer Drone Series?  mine wont connect.

One thing to try. Start Assistant 2, connect RC then turn the RC on.

Be careful with charging and connecting to the computer the components inside the remote control are of poor quality in new batches from autumn. Due to a DJI error, my remote control just stopped turning on

be shure you have the latest v2.1.13

From my MacBook I can see it as an Android device, after installing the Android File Transfer application. And I can move files back and forth.
But only few directory are accessible.

Then You are ready for Assistant. Just open it and see if there is a newer version and update it.
