A fairly easy one for a Monday morning.
Nice research RDB.
We had a great visit there.
No flying within the grounds, as the owners live on the premises.
But I got some footage with the zoom lenses of the Mini3Pro and the M2Z.

It is the Chateau de Serrant. Well worth a visit if you're ever in the area.
Very informative guided tour.

The chateau is surrounded by a moat, Seb. Further in the background is a landscaped garden with large lake, fed by a small stream. Near St.Georges sur Loire

That's the one Depp.  I'm sure you'd love the place.
It's just 2Kms north of the Loire River, in the Maine-et-Loire (49) département.
So "Sur Loire" is not unreasonable

Thanks.  I have been doing some research on "things to see" in the Loire Valley and I thought I remembered that so went back and had another look so figured it was worth a shot at saying Chateau de Serrant.

Definitely a place I'd like to see in person and take the guided tour.

No, you sure didn't.  But I got to start my initial planning and then build in a bit of time buffer.  

Speaking of that I'm looking at taking my boat down to Cancun since the end of hurricane season is finally upon us.  Waters will be much calmer and price of marine fuel always seems to go down in the winter months.  My oldest grandson graduates in 2 weeks from 5 straight years of college with his Masters degree.  He wants to take a few months off before he goes back to start his Doctorate degree work in June.  So he has "volunteered" to go with me on the trip.  Also nice that he speaks Spanish fluently.

Exactly right.    It's about a 19 hour trip as I'll keep the cruising speed down to use less fuel.
