Hi,

are there longer coax cable available?

I'm not able to place O3 Air Unit in the back of my 5" quad and the camera in front, so I get props out of view.

I'd like to have antenna in the back of the quad, as usual. I think this is the best place for it. I also thought about antenna with longer cables, but not sure, if this will downgrade transmission/signal quality, when routing antenna cables through the whole quad, below FC/ESC. Another option would be to place antenna somewhere in front pointing upwards or downwards, but then - depending on flight direction - the quad/frame could interfere the transmission/signal.

anyone any ideas or alternatives?

exactly the cable I'm looking for

sadly i-flight doesn't list it on their website.


anyways, interesting routing of antenna cables in this video. crossfire passes ESC + FC and they use an UF-L to RP-SMA adapter cable. normally I would avoid both. maybe I should look for an antenna adapter cable as well, till a longer coax camera cable is available.

This is for the Air Unit/Caddx Vista and is 200mm in length. Further down the page shows you the specs of the cable.

Seems like RunCam are selling some O3 compatible cables. Will probably end up purchasing one and seeing how good they are. They look to be the same sort of braided cable too.
