"Temperature Low" - Not working

Hi guys, I've never had this problem before even when recording in my own home.

DJI action 2 doesn't record anymore and keeps giving me the error of "Temperature Low. Only available in 1080p 30fps. Record higher quality videos after camera unit warms up."


I've even left the camera on for a few minutes to heat up a little bit. But it just doesn't work anymore. I've noticed that in the screen it also doesn't show battery levels and is blank as well as "0%" in the Mimo App even though the camera and battery unit are fully charged.


I've reset to factory settings multiple times. I've even let the camera cooldown and retry again. But doesn't record at all.

The photos work fine but recording doesn't cut it I've hardly used this unit and maybe 3-4 times since Sept 1 and I always store it in a safe compartment.


I live in New Zealand and is summer right now so it shouldn't give that error.

Any help would be appreciated

Also note, I've tried recording at the recommended settings it displays but still doesn't allow video recording

My brand new, unused Action 2 will simply NOT record.....
It says 'ENVIRONMENT TEMPERATURE LOW, UNABLE TO RECORD".
I am in my heated home, temperature is 20 degrees Celsius.

I've tried all possible resolution settings, none of which will record anything.
Same message every single time.

I have never been able to record anything.

This is a total waste of money, I'm not even going to try and send it back for repair. Will buy the GOPRO system instead...... super disappointed in DJI.
