Will the Mavic AIR 2 receive EU Type C1 certification as officially defined by European Drone Regulations?

Almost certainly not. Unfortunately, I believe that DJI considers this model as a legacy drone and won't waste effort on it.

Where did you get this information from? How reliable are they?

old drone? 2 years old? yeah what ever!  
Yeah for a phone. A console like PS or Xbox is updated every 4-6 years. But sure OLD 2 years old drone

Well, they usually don't make bigger upgrades for drones that age. At least, so far they have not.
So I'm not expecting them to make bigger changes on this one.
But I have zero insight in their policies, nor do I like those policies.
It's just my expectation.

I doubt they will waste time on older drones. There is still no drone manufactured right now with C marking.

At least the EU postponed the transition period until 1st January 2024.

Hi, I just wanted to check if  anybody heard any rumors regarding the EU Label for the Mavic air 2 ?
The date where the stricter rules will come into effect is approaching fast (Jan. 1st 2024)

Does anyone have any new information?

DJI has confirmed yesterday on facebook that the Air 2 is not going to recieve the C-label.
