I did all the route planning on the DJI RC Pro. It took a little getting used to, but now it works great...

... I used the new waypoint feature, so I flew the "same loop" twice, first in daylight and then again after sunset.  
I then cut with Davinci Resolve...

The matching of shots is stunning. You or the software or a combination of both?

First of all, a good waypoint function...
Then of course "good weather", because strong wind would certainly mean too great a difference in the image material...
Of course you have to "manually" choose suitable points for the transition from one video to another...
But  Davinci Resolve is a very good (and cheap) video editing program...

The flexibility of the new waypoint function is of course much greater...

The C1 certification now gives me much more safety/confidence when flying...
It's finally not (anymore) illegal to fly in the city too...

Waypoints, Cruise Control, ... are other very nice innovations that are a real asset when filming, really...

But, you still get an (official) "C1 certification document", which you should "always" carry with you. The serial number etc. is noted there...

The video is very nicely done! Looks pretty seamless. Curious as to what aperture the daylight videos were taken with. There appears to be a speck of sensor dust visible on the daylight shots indicating a smaller aperture. Great job!!

I think I was filming in auto mode...

I also noticed the "sensor dust". I cleaned everything after the flight, but couldn't find anything on the outside...
Maybe actually directly on the sensor...
Is there anything you can do about it, based on your experience...?

Do a search for youtube guides for drone day to night shots. They will show you how to match up shots using waypoints using video or hyperlapse.
