Curious if anyone here has received an Osmo Action 3 Adventure Combo built/dated after 2022/9.  If so, is the focus issue still prevalent or has it been resolved in the later/newer  editions?
Each of the two Adventure Combos I've received thus far had the out of focus issue so I returned them. I see others with the same results posting here ond on YouTube. Just trying to get a handle on how long I should wait so i can get a good one.   My orders have all been directly with DJI via their web page store.

My OA3 Adventure Combo build date is 2022/10. So far, I don't see any focus issue.

I am curious about official stance on this as well. I purchased two on amazon, a month apart and both were a 9\22 batch with focus issue.

it was resolved wit 2x firmware updates.

Was no post sharpening used on those boat shots?

Is there a change in model number or article number or anything between batches? Going to buy this tomorrow, and want to check I get the right unit before buying and avoid issues.

Does anyone with the October batch have issues, or should I just aim for the November batch? Thanks in advance.

From what I have seen, most if not all October units have good focus.

Unfortunately the one I ordered turned out to be a 9/22 batch and the focus is very soft, and I'm a little disappointed. I have a few too. Many videos of my family for new years that would have been nicer if the focus was right.

I got a few good videos, but as soon as a person enters the frame you can see something isnt quite right.

Updated to latest firmware, and the 10bit colour was beautiful, and I love everything about the camera... Just not the focus coming from this unit.

Not sure if it best to open a ticket with Dji to get replacement or just return it to the shop...

Write to the old blind man who wants proof of the unsharpness of the units, and let him send you the firmware, because only he gets the ones that mechanically repair the optics...

The best advice to offer  will be,  and do not take offense to it, it is of no insult;

You can get the funds back in Full, i go for that route, if you exchange and the return period expire, until you get a propper camera.

Most people edit videos , that’s what improves them so if he feels he wants to sharpen why not. IMO improvement came with latest FW I have one of the earliest units and now after updates its excellent.

The return and exchange lasts the length of your warranty. So that’s 12 months full cover for faulty units.
