thanks DT,  luckily I have a strobe and Velcro on the bottom of the mini3 but I have to hand catch etc with it fitted.

It was odd flying over the top of it,  traveling at 23mph and the fog did appear to move.

You're most welcome DA.  

Yeah, with the strobe on the bottom that would necessitate hand launch and recovery.  I do that as a norm everyday anyway so I'm used to not putting the Mini 3 Pro on the ground.  To be honest I even hand launch/recovery the Air 2S.

Yes,   Thats my goto place for boat chasing,   its also one end of the railway so I can stop there on the loop.

With the Mini 3 you have to use the take off button and then you get a few seconds to do it.    There's a few places where I take off where there's only long grass,  and with the RC I can turn it side ways in one hand to do that.

Yesterday Gold had an Only fools and horses day,.   I dont know how they found enough episodes to fill it.

Never had those, but it just feels odd and you don't see the lights when it is in normal position.
