Christmas Morning at the Castle.....

Not much going on in the sky this morning at the Castle,   the forecast was for rain which never came,  but then nor did the sunrise.

Darn.  That is close to the flight path for Southend runway.

This should be a pretty unique shot. Photos of flying saucers are seen more often, but this one is like winning the lottery! He's probably on his way back home right now. The battery for the position lights seems to be empty already. Reindeer don't have alternators.

Despite the lack of you seeing the sunrise it's always nice seeing shots of the castle.  Love the UFO in the upper left corner.  Great job DA.    Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Ive never really thought about it but you're right,   no alternators on reindeer.,   my good I hope he doesn't stall on the way home.

Something went wrong there for sure.
Maybe the auto ghost reduction. That can make ugly stuff in clouds.
I quite often have to make 2 exact same merges. One with and one without that. And merge those in post.

I turned off the ghost reduction as it was messing the sky up.   If the shot had been more memorable I would have made more of an effort.

It is about the moving details that it tries to avoid creating ghosting. But that should be done differently with clouds.

Very nice,,   enjoy your walk.   I plan on heading down for high tide,  we have a flood warning in place so there might be some boat activity and a closed flood barrier.
